Casual Support Worker
Pay starting from Social and Community Services – Level 1 pay point 1 (Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2021).
Multiple locations throughout the Greater Brisbane Region.

The Position: We are looking for casual support workers (multiple vacancies) who match our values and beliefs and are able to care for both young individuals and adults through meeting support needs to enhance physical, social, emotional and intellectual development in their own home and out in the community. Having experience in this role is preferred but no previous experience is needed
Requirements:
- Driver’s License and own vehicle required
- NDIS Disability Worker Screening
- Current Australian First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Proof of COVID 19 vaccination
- Infection Control Training – COVID 19 certificate
- Certificate III in Aged Care/Disabilities/Individual Support or higher is highly regarded but is not essential
Responsibilities:
You may be required to provide support services such as:
- Personal Care – e.g. showering, dressing
- Medication Support – e.g. prompting
- Domestic Assistance – e.g. cleaning, cooking, laundry, shopping
- Companionship – e.g. providing company through friendships, interests and activities
- Community Access – e.g. driving to appointments, shops, outings if needed
- Yard Maintenance – e.g. mowing, weeding, yard tidy
